CCTV and Alarm Installation in Garvagh
CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and fire systems for Garvagh homes, farms, sheds and shops, from the main street units out to holdings down the lanes towards Ballerin and Aghadowey.
What the Garvagh figures miss about rural property
Garvagh is a village with a very large rural parish behind it, and much of the property around it sits out in that parish rather than on the street. Recorded crime in a place this size tells you little about any one lane. What tells you more is distance: how long it would take anybody at all to notice something at your yard gate.
Distance changes what a system has to do. An audible alarm needs somebody within earshot, and on a holding between Garvagh and Ringsend there is nobody, so the work falls to detection that reaches your phone and cameras that record a usable image of whoever came up the lane. It changes the order of fitting too: the gate, the shed and the fuel tank come first, and the front door of the house comes after them.

Garvagh runs along one broad main street with its stone clock tower, a short row of shops, and the forest car park off the top of it. Village premises tend to be small and many have living accommodation attached, so we zone the alarm rather than treating the whole building as one box, and we cover the shopfront, the back store and the yard where deliveries arrive from the Bridge Street side.
Most of the work here, though, is out the roads. Houses sit on their own sites with a shed, an oil tank and a few hundred yards of lane, and farms keep machinery and fuel well away from the dwelling. Woodland along the western edge of the village brings cover right up to some boundaries, which affects where detection is worth placing and which way a camera should face. We settle that on the ground with you, not off a map.
What we install in Garvagh
CCTV installation
Camera systems for houses, yards and village premises, viewable on your phone. The questions at a Garvagh survey are usually how far the lane runs, where the nearest power is, and whether the broadband at the house will ever reach the far shed. Mobile connected and solar powered cameras answer most of that, sized for winter light before anything is fitted.

Intruder alarms
Wired and wireless intruder alarms, with wireless usually the sensible choice in an older farmhouse or a converted outbuilding. Sheds and a workshop can go on the same panel as the house, with zones arranged so the outbuildings stay armed through the day while people come and go from the kitchen door.

Access control and door entry
Keypad, fob and app controlled entry for yard gates, workshops, stores and village premises, plus door entry where a flat sits over a shop. On a holding with contractors and relief workers passing through, codes are issued and withdrawn from your phone, with no locks re-keyed and no spare sets handed round.

Fire alarms and emergency lighting
Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting for shops, workshops, stores and rented houses around Garvagh, designed for the layout of the building and the way people would actually get out of it. Routine testing keeps it dependable, which counts for most in a building where everyone is asleep when the detection does its work.

Monitoring and maintenance
CCTV can be monitored through 24-hour NI CCTV Monitoring from Advanced Overwatch, and intruder and fire alarm monitoring is provided through our monitoring partner’s NSI Gold certified Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
We service what we install on a planned schedule, and we can take over a system another installer left behind. For sites out the country roads we interrogate the equipment remotely first where it allows that, so a fault is often identified, and sometimes cleared, without anybody driving back up the A29.

CCTV and alarms in Garvagh, your questions answered
How do you protect a house down a long Garvagh lane?
Start at the gate. A detector or camera on the lane gives you notice while somebody is still a field away from the house, which is worth more than anything fitted at the front door. From there we take in the yard, the shed and the oil tank, with alerts to your phone and recording retained long enough to be useful afterwards.
Is there a CCTV option for sheds with no power or broadband?
Yes. Solar powered, battery backed cameras on a mobile connection will watch a shed or a field gate that has neither a cable nor a usable signal from the house. We size the panel and the battery for the position and the shorter winter days, and we test the mobile signal standing at the spot before specifying anything.
Do forest visitors and walkers cause false alarms in Garvagh?
They need not. Sites near the forest edge and the trail car parks see plenty of harmless movement, so the detection area is drawn onto your boundary, your yard and your doors instead of the path and the road. Sensitivity is tuned on site, and we come back and adjust it if anything proves jumpy in use.
What do small Garvagh shops usually put in?
Cameras on the shopfront, the counter and the rear store, an intruder alarm zoned so the stockroom stays protected during opening hours, and entry control on the back door if staff use it. Where there is accommodation above the shop it joins the same system with a zone of its own. The detail is settled at survey.
Which villages and townlands near Garvagh do you cover?
We work through Ballerin, Glenullin, Ringsend, Macosquin and Aghadowey, down the A29 towards Swatragh, across to Kilrea, and out the side roads in between. Coleraine is a short run back up the same road, so a farm, a house and a village unit can all be seen on the one journey.
