Cloud hosted business phone systems

Advanced Overwatch supplies cloud hosted PBX telephone systems using VoIP technology. We plan the system around your premises, users and business requirements.

How your incoming calls are handled

Our VOIP service comes with several features that add that professional touch to your incoming calls. Use a greeting message when the call is answered and add an IVR to direct calls to departments or the next available operator. Call waiting music and the ability to record calls for training purposes.

Your business number, on the move

Mobile phones can be linked to the phone system as extensions. This lets you use the business phone system when working away from a desk, with suitable connectivity.

A connection planned for your premises

We supply and support business broadband, fibre, leased lines and dedicated internet alongside phone systems.

The connection and network need to be considered together, including the users and connected equipment at your site.

Changing the line?
Check the connected systems.

Check the phone service, power arrangements and alarm signalling before a connection changes. Digital calling depends on power and connectivity, including when you need to make an emergency call.

Connectivity and security are usually specified together. See IT services and technology for networking and cabling, CCTV installation across Northern Ireland where remote viewing depends on the line, and 24/7 security system monitoring for alarm signalling paths.

Phone, broadband and VoIP, your questions

The old analogue lines are being retired across the UK, and an alarm that dials out over one can stop signalling reliably, or at all, once the line goes digital. Because our own engineers look after both phone lines and alarm systems, we check what your alarm uses before anything is switched and move it to a path that works on the new network, such as an IP or radio signalling connection. If your provider has told you your line is changing, call us on 028 7087 8077 before the switch date, not after.

Yes. Existing numbers port onto the VoIP platform, so the number your customers know stays with you, and because it is no longer tied to an exchange, you keep it even if you move premises. New numbers can be added and routed to specific people or departments.

Yes, when the connection and the network behind it are set up properly, which is where most bad VoIP experiences come from. We size the broadband or leased line for the number of handsets, and because we install the cabling and networking ourselves we can prioritise voice traffic so calls stay clear when the office connection is busy.

A reliable business-grade internet connection and either desk handsets or the softphone app on computers and mobiles. The system is cloud hosted, so there is no PBX cabinet on the wall to buy or maintain, and mobiles can be linked as extensions so calls to your office number reach you anywhere. We survey the site first and tell you if your current connection is up to the job.

Yes, we supply and support broadband, fibre, leased lines and dedicated internet alongside the phone system, so there is one supplier and one point of support. That matters most when a fault appears, because there is no other provider to pass the blame to.
