Certified to recognised standards

The security industry is constantly changing. To provide the best service possible we continually train to attain new qualifications, keeping our customers ahead of the curve. We operate an Integrated Management System (IMS) built on four ISO certifications, and we are certificated by the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) under registration NIRE127 for CCTV, intruder alarms and access control, which anyone can check on the SSAIB public register.
We install intruder alarms to BS EN 50131 and PD 6662, and CCTV and access control systems to the relevant British and European Standards, and we can register a monitored alarm for police response where the property qualifies. Further certificates and qualification records are available on request.
Security industry certifications
Advanced Overwatch is SSAIB certificated (NIRE127) specifically for Intruder Alarm Systems, Visual Surveillance Systems (VSS) and Access Control Systems.
Visual Surveillance Systems (VSS)
Design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of CCTV systems that are appropriate to the identified risk and compliant with relevant legislation, including the Human Rights Act and data-protection requirements.
Intruder Alarm Systems
Design, installation and maintenance of intruder alarm systems, assessed against the relevant standards and codes of practice so you can be confident in the range of burglar-alarm services we provide.
Access Control Systems
Electronic access-control installations that permit or deny access to supervised premises by card, token, code or biometrics, designed, provided and maintained to the appropriate standard.

Our senior management team have many decades of experience working in strategic roles across a broad range of sectors in Northern Ireland. Our engineers are highly experienced and trained, including training with the manufacturers whose equipment we install.

All staff across the business are AccessNI vetted and have also passed BS 7858 enhanced vetting checks and PSNI clearance.
Managing Director
Our Managing Director holds an MSc in International Security and Risk Management, is a Member of the Security Institute (MSyI) and a Certified Technical Security Professional (CTSP).
Compliance Manager
Holds four certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP): CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe), CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager), CIPT (Certified Information Privacy Technologist) and AIGP (Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional).
Health and Safety Manager
Holds the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety and the IOSH Managing Safely certificate.
