Digital Display & Signage Northern Ireland

Design, installation and maintenance of digital display and signage systems for business premises across Northern Ireland, from a single screen to a networked, remotely managed estate.

Thousands of premises secured since 2017

Digital signage supplied, installed and managed

Advanced Overwatch supplies and installs digital signage for shops, hospitality, offices and public spaces across Northern Ireland. That means single screens behind a counter, menu boards above a servery, video walls in a reception, high brightness window displays and wayfinding screens in larger buildings. We provide the screens, the media players and the software that drives them, then mount, cable and commission everything so it works from day one.

Display applications

Digital signage earns its keep in small, practical ways: no reprinting when a price changes, no out of date posters taped to the glass, no waiting on new artwork for a weekend offer. Where it works hardest:

Shops and showrooms:

promotion and product screens updated from the office, and daylight readable window displays that keep selling after closing time.

Cafes, takeaways and restaurants:

digital menu boards you can change in minutes, with scheduling that switches menus through the day without anyone touching a screen.

Hotels, bars and venues:

welcome screens, event listings and room signage that point guests the right way without a printed easel in the lobby.

Offices:

reception displays, meeting room signage, staff dashboards and health and safety notices that stay current.

Surgeries, schools and public buildings:

queue and appointment information, service updates and wayfinding that visitors can actually follow.

Content you can manage

Every system we fit includes a content management platform, so you control what is on screen without a ladder, a USB stick or a call to a designer. Update a menu from the office, push a promotion to every screen at once, or schedule content in advance so the breakfast board swaps to the lunch menu on its own. Screens can be grouped and managed remotely, which means one person can look after a single shop or a networked estate of displays across several sites. We load your first content during commissioning and show your staff how to manage it.

Installed properly and connected to the rest of your technology

  • Survey first: we check sight lines, glare, mounting surfaces and where power and data will come from before recommending any hardware.
  • Proper mounting: the right bracket for the wall behind it, fitted level and at the right height, with tamper resistant fixings in public areas.
  • Tidy cabling: power and data contained or concealed, not draped down the wall behind the screen.
  • Full commissioning: every display tested on its own content schedule, remote management proven working, then handed over with training.
  • Aftercare: support from our team in Coleraine when a screen or player plays up, and help with content when you need it.

Signage relies on a reliable network. We provide IT and networking, so your screens and their network connections can be planned together. Any connection to an existing till or other business system is assessed with the relevant system provider.

Digital signage, your questions

Four parts: the display itself (a commercial screen, video wall panel or high brightness window unit), a media player to drive it, the mounting and cabling, and a content management platform that controls what appears on screen. Advanced Overwatch supplies and installs all four, then hands the content platform over to you with training, so day to day updates never depend on us.

Yes, that is the point of the system. The content platform runs in a web browser, so you can change a menu, swap a promotion or push a notice to every screen from the office or from home. Content can also be scheduled in advance, so price changes and seasonal offers appear on their own at the time you set. We load your opening content during commissioning and train your staff before we leave.

An ordinary television will not. It is too dim to compete with daylight and is not built to run all day, every day. Window displays need commercial high brightness screens rated for continuous use and readable in direct sunlight. We survey the window for glare and heat, then specify a display that stays legible from the street and keeps working long after an off the shelf TV would have failed.

Where compatible, digital signage can display information from existing business systems, such as menu pricing or office dashboards. We assess the available connections and coordinate any integration with your existing system provider. Compatibility and access requirements are checked before the work is specified.

Yes. We are based in Coleraine and install digital signage for shops, hospitality venues, offices, surgeries and public buildings across all of Northern Ireland. Every job starts with a free site survey, and multi site estates can be managed from a single content platform, so head office controls every screen in every branch. Call 028 7087 8077 to arrange a survey.
