Every CCTV, intruder alarm, fire alarm, access control or emergency lighting installation we carry out is backed by a clear guarantee: 12 months’ cover on all hardware, parts and labour, with extended warranty available if you need it, and 25 years’ cover on structured cabling and related infrastructure work.
A properly designed and installed security system depends on the right equipment, correctly specified and fitted, backed up by support you can actually rely on. That’s what our guarantee is built to protect.
Clear cover, clearly explained
12 months on parts & labour
Hardware, parts and labour on your installation are guaranteed for 12 months as standard, with the option to extend if you’d like longer cover.
25 years on cabling
Structured cabling and other infrastructure work is guaranteed for 25 years, reflecting the durability of a properly installed cabling system.
Free call-outs in cover
Engineer call-outs for installation faults within the guarantee period, at no extra charge for issues covered by the guarantee terms.
What’s covered, and what isn’t
Advanced Overwatch is SSAIB certificated (NIRE127) specifically for Intruder Alarm Systems, Visual Surveillance Systems (VSS) and Access Control Systems.
Guarantee cover applies to defects in the original installation. It doesn’t cover damage from misuse, unauthorised third-party interference, or routine wear that falls under normal maintenance, which we’re happy to quote for separately.
We don’t ask you to take our word for it. Advanced Overwatch is SSAIB certificated under registration NIRE127, which can be checked on the SSAIB public register. The SSAIB is a UKAS-accredited certification body for security system installers. Alongside that we are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001. An independent body regularly assesses how we design, install and support your system, and how we handle your data.
If anything about your installation isn’t working as it should, get in touch and we’ll arrange for an engineer to inspect it. Where the fault falls within your guarantee, we’ll put it right at no extra charge. If you signed your contract away from our registered place of business, UK consumer law also gives you a statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

What does the guarantee cover?
All hardware, parts and labour are guaranteed for 12 months, with extended warranty available if required. Structured cabling and related infrastructure work is guaranteed for 25 years.
Is Advanced Overwatch a certified installer?
Yes. We’re SSAIB certificated (membership ref NIRE127) and certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001.
What happens if I’m not satisfied with my installation?
Contact us and we’ll arrange an inspection. Where the issue is covered by the guarantee, we’ll resolve it at no extra charge.
Do I get a cooling-off period after signing a contract?
If your contract was signed away from our registered place of business, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. We’ll confirm your rights in writing at the point of sale.
Does the guarantee cover call-outs after installation is complete?
Yes, for faults traced back to the original installation, within the guarantee period. Misuse, third-party interference or routine maintenance needs sit outside the guarantee.
